Application Process

Q2: How is IRUVcoat® Liquid NanoTint applied?

Q3: Is NanoTint applied to the interior or exterior of glass?
Apply to the interior surface for optimal results. Interior environments are easier to control, ensuring clarity and uniformity during curing.

Q4: What environmental conditions are required?

• Temperature: 41–95°F (5–35°C)
• Humidity: ≤70%
• Minimize air circulation to prevent dust/dirt contamination during application and the first 60 minutes of curing.

Q5: What is the coverage rate?
Each roller absorbs 30 grams of solution, covering 1m² (10ft²) per additional 30 grams. 1 iter cover 50m² (583 ft²)

Q6: How much area can one person coat in 5 minutes?
A single person can coat approximately 2m² (21ft²) before facing application challenges.

Q7: Can I use methods other than a foam roller?
Absolutely! You have a couple of great alternatives:

• High-density foam rollers (if you prefer manual application).
• Sprayers with a 1.6/8 nozzle size (this works perfectly for efficient coverage).|

Surface Preparation & Safety

Q8: What surface prep is needed?

1. Remove dirt/contaminants with paper towels.
2. Mask adjacent surfaces.

Q9: Are there odors during application?
A mild odor (similar to household paint) lasts ~4 hours. Vacate the area during application. After curing, no off-gassing occurs (verified by third-party testing).

Follow the product label and IRUVcoat® Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
Use PPE (gloves, respirators) and ensure proper ventilation.

Durability & Maintenance

Q11: Can NanoTint be removed from glass?
Yes. It can be removed using high strength thinners and a razor blade.

Wait 14 days for full curing. Use non-abrasive cleaners and avoid harsh materials.
